Our Staff
Mary Theus NLC-EP is a gifted equine professional, licensed acupuncturist, massage therapist and physical therapy assistant.
Mary grew up with horses and found them to be her sanctuary and joy. From her lifelong experiences of connecting and partnering with horses, she understands their simple, profound capacities to guide humans to a place of healing and connection.

Her equine assisted program at Wind Horse Farm includes practices and philosophy from her studies with Natural Lifemanship. Through Natural Lifemanship, Mary completed Fundamentals, Intensive, Relationship Logic and Rhythmic Riding. She regularly continues her EAL education traveling to workshops locally and across the country.
At Wind Horse Farm, Mary offers opportunities to experience the full presence and attention of horses and to grow beyond unrecognized barriers to joy.
Jennifer Plyler - VOLUNTEER
Jennifer Plyler has a PH.D in Forestry for wildland fire management and is a retired professor at Polytechnic Institute. She believes in conservation and the profound impact that the natural environment can have on our well being. Jennifer came to us during a 4-week equine program at Wind Horse Farm where she discovered that horses are often a precursor and reflection of our human connections as well as a powerful conduit for her own mental and physical health. Jennifer found the program so transformational that she asked to stay on as a volunteer. Jennifer is currently pursuing equine specialist certification and has already completed her Fundamentals training through Natural Lifemanship.

Muffin and Sky are in charge of greeting guests. In their free time they enjoy cat naps and bird watching.

Tater Tot - HERDSMAN
Tator Tot was an integral part of our team and left a big void in our hearts. His primary job was to herd the horses in for meals, but the most important work he did was to offer TLC to all of our clients. He is missed.
